Shipping Information

We offer Fast & Free UPS Ground shipping for most in-stock orders over $99.00 and $9.99 flat-rate ground for most everything else.  Some exceptions apply for oversize items.    Discounted express options are also available along with same-day curbside pick up at our Saint Charles, Illinois warehouse. 

Most UPS orders ship same-day if ordered by 4:00 pm Central, Monday through Friday.   We offer USPS Priority Mail shipping for customers located in Alaska and Hawaii only. Priority Mail orders ship the next business day.

We ship within the USA only.  We do not accept international orders at this time.


Shipping Schedule:

Orders are processed, packed and shipped in the order they are received Monday through Friday.  We are closed on the weekends.

  • All UPS shipments, including those that qualify for free shipping, usually ship same day for in-stock orders placed by 4:00 pm Central.  We will continue to process and pack orders until our UPS pickup takes place.
  • USPS Priority Mail orders are typically picked up from our warehouse the next business day.
  • Freight shipments are picked up the next business day. 

Occasionally there may be unusually busy days or unforeseen circumstances when we will not be able to ship same-day.  If this situation occurs, your order will be prioritized to ship the next business day.

Saturday Delivery:

The following services offer residential Saturday delivery at no extra charge:

  • UPS Ground delivers on Saturday to the following major metropolitan areas
  • USPS Priority Mail (offered for Alaska and Hawaii only)


Free UPS Ground Shipping for Most In-Stock Orders Over $99.00

Specialty Graphics Supply is pleased to offer our customers FREE UPS Ground shipping on most in-stock orders over $99.00.  There are some exceptions to our free shipping offer which includes most oversize vinyl and application tape products that are wider than 24".  If an item does not qualify for free shipping, the exception will be noted in the item's description.

Free UPS Ground Shipping Terms:

  • In most cases, customers can expect to receive their order within 1-5 business days depending on their proximity to our warehouse located in Saint Charles, Illinois.  Most customers will receive their order within 1-3 business days.  See the delivery time maps below.
  • Free shipping qualification is determined by the net order subtotal total (after any coupons or discounts are applied and before sales tax).
  • If an ordered item is out out stock and expected to return to stock within 2 business days, the entire order will be held so it can be shipped complete.  We will contact the customer by phone or email if this situation arises.
  • Free shipping is offered to ship-to addresses located in the continental USA only.  Free shipping is not offered for orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Should the customer return the item(s), the shipping charge that we incurred to ship the original order may be deducted from the refund.
  • For our mutual protection, a delivery signature will be required for all vinyl cutter, laser printer, heat press and supply orders over $500 in value.
  • Not valid for most non-stocked drop shipped items.  Actual UPS shipping rates will apply.
  • Not valid for heavy and oversize items including most equipment and some vinyl rolls.  Actual UPS shipping rates will apply.
  • Certain heavy or oversize items may require a shipping surcharge.
  • We reserve the right to change or cancel the free shipping offer at any time.
  • The free shipping threshold for resellers is $300.


UPS Ground:

  • UPS Ground delivers to both commercial and residential addresses.
  • UPS Ground delivers to commercial and residential addresses Monday through Friday.  UPS Ground now delivers on Saturday to the following major metropolitan areas.  This list will constantly be expanding as UPS Ground moves towards Saturday delivery in all areas.
  • To determine a likely delivery date using UPS Ground, do not include the day that the package was picked up at our facility or Saturdays or Sundays.
  • For example: We ship a package to a customer on Monday that normally takes 2 business days for delivery, the customer can expect to receive the package on Wednesday. The day the package is picked up from our warehouse does not count as the first shipping day.

 UPS Express:

If you need an in-stock item fast, we offer great negotiated express rates from UPS. UPS Express orders must be placed by 4:00 pm Central in order to be shipped the same-day. Please note that items that require drop shipping from the manufacturer may not ship out the same day.

UPS Express Delivery Times:

UPS Next Day Air - Next business day delivery by 10:30 am to 12:00 pm noon in most areas.  Delivery by the end of day in more rural areas.  Delivers Monday through Friday only unless the Saturday delivery option is added.  See below for details.  

UPS 2nd Day Air - Delivery by the end of the second business day (Monday through Friday only). Some locations in Alaska and Hawaii require additional transit time.

UPS Service Guarantee:

Currently only UPS Next Day Air® shipments are eligible for their money-back Service Guarantee. Exceptions to the Service Guarantee include inclement weather and other environmental issue outside of UPS's control.  Review current UPS Service Guarantee terms and conditions.

If a UPS Next Day Air® delivery is late, we can request a refund for the shipping charges on your behalf for up to 15 days after the original package ship date.  It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of a late delivery within a timely manner.  Shipping refund requests made after the 15 day refund window will not be honored.  Please allow up to 10 business days for UPS to review Service Guarantee requests.

If UPS approves a Service Guarantee request and issues a credit to our UPS account, we will promptly issue a store credit to the customer's account that can be used on their next order.  We do not issue credit card, PayPal, or Affirm refunds for Service Guarantee credits.

United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail

We offer Priority Mail as a lower cost shipping option for customers located in Alaska and Hawaii only.  Our shopping cart will quote an estimated delivery date during check out.  Please note that this is only an estimate and the actual delivery date may be sooner or later.  If you track the order on the website, we have found that the estimated delivery date provided is almost always much sooner than the actual delivery date and it should only be used as a rough estimate.  USPS shipments are not guaranteed and we do not consider a package lost and eligible for replacement until 10 days after shipment.

If you have a time sensitive project, we highly recommend choosing UPS shipping option.


Curbside pick up at our St. Charles, Illinois warehouse:

We are pleased to offer our local customers the ability and convenience to pick up their orders in person instead of having it shipped.

Curbside Pick Up Instructions:

  • Place your order online.
  • We will send you an email when it's ready for pick up which is usually same day.  We process all orders in the order they are received. 
  • Upon arrival, please call us at 630-584-8202 to let us know you are here.  Do not call while on your way.
  • Our staff will place your order in the cart outside the front door.
  • You may now get out of your car and retrieve your order.
  • Pick up hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
  • Please be sure to have a photo ID and the credit card used if you are picking up equipment or are a new customer.
  • Orders must be picked up within 3 business days to avoid order cancelation and a 10% restock fee.

Abandoned pick up orders

After the second cancelled order due to a customer no-show, the customer's account will be flagged, and all orders will require shipment going forward.  Any orders placed for customer pick up on flagged accounts will be cancelled.

Identification Required for New Customers

If you are a new customer placing your first pickup order, please be advised that the credit card holder will be required to pick up the order and provide identification.  We will not release the order to third parties.  We are going to ask to see your driver’s license and the credit card that was used for the online transaction.  If they don’t match the online order information, we will not be able to release the order to you.  Unfortunately, credit card fraud is a growing problem for us and this is the only way that we can protect ourselves and credit card account holders.

Illinois sales tax of 8% will be added to all orders placed by out of state customers that choose the customer pickup option.

Freight Shipments

Freight shipments are typically delivered within 1-7 business days depending on the destination.

The following items ship on a pallet ship by freight truck.  In stock items usually ship from our warehouse the next business day unless noted on the item page:

  • Hotronix Fusion IQ heat press
  • Geo Knight DK20S Swing-Away and DC16 Digital Combo heat presses (ships directly from Geo. Knight in NJ)
  • Roland VersaCamm BN-20, BN-20A printer/cutters
  • Roland GR2 Series vinyl cutters (ships directly from Roland in CA)
  • Graphtec wide format FC9000 Series vinyl cutters (ships directly from Graphtec in CA)
  • Crio 8432WDT laser printer (ships directly from distributor in MO)
  • UNINET IColor 650 & 800 (ships directly from UNINET in NY or CA)
  • Large orders of equipment and/or vinyl

Rescheduled Delivery Fee

If a scheduled freight delivery is missed by the customer, the rescheduling fee charged to us by the carrier will be charged to the customer.


Other Important Shipping Information:

Resellers:  We will do our best to ship large sheet or roll stocking orders the same day but in some cases orders may require an extra business day to prepare and ship your order.

Change of Shipping Address:

Due to credit card fraud issues, post shipment address changes can only be initiated with UPS by our staff. Customers can no longer re-route shipments to another address without our consent.  All shipping address change requests will be subject to identity verification plus a $20 service fee per package.  If you need to change your address, please call 1-888-330-6172.  New customers will be asked to  provide a copy of a valid driver's license and a copy of the credit card used online as proof of identity. 

Address Correction Fee:

UPS charges us a $19.00 service fee for address corrections.  If we are invoiced by UPS for an address correction due to an improper or incomplete address provided by the customer, the service fee will be invoiced to the customer. 

Service Area:

We are located in Saint Charles, Illinois and serve the United States using services from UPS and the United States Postal Service.  We do not ship internationally.

Delivery Signatures: For our mutual protection, a delivery signature will be required for all equipment orders and supply orders valued at $500 or more. Please make sure that someone will be available to sign for package(s) on the scheduled delivery day.

Freight Forwarder:

We do not ship to freight forwarders.  Any order placed shipping to a freight forwarder will be cancelled and refunded.
