Heat Transfer Vinyl

Heat Transfer Vinyl (or HTV for short) is a type of decorative vinyl film that can be cut and heat pressed onto t-shirts, apparel and other fabric surfaces.  Heat transfer vinyl is manufactured in a variety of styles including solid color, fluorescents, glitter, printed patterns, holographics, flock, reflectives and more.  HTV is normally available in rolls, by-the-foot and in sheets of various sizes.

The equipment needed to apply heat transfer vinyl includes a vinyl cutter, a heat press, and a few accessories such as a heat transfer cover sheet and a "weeding" tool.  Weeding vinyl is the process of removing the waste HTV from the cut design.  Some heat transfer vinyl films can also be applied with a standard hand iron.

There are many manufacturers of heat transfer vinyl around the world.  We are proud to be Authorized Distributors for the top manufacturers including Siser, Specialty Materials, and SEF.
