ThermoFlex® Sport from Specialty Materials is a durable, slightly thicker film which makes it ideal for bridging the holes in open-mesh athletic jerseys. It is designed for pressing at relatively low (300° F - 320° F) temperature and short dwell time (8-10 seconds), which minimizes dye migration from colored polyester jersey mesh. ThermoFlex Sport does not have a sticky backing sheet which makes it ideal for pre-cutting and stacking letters and numbers without them sticking together. ThermoFlex Sport has a semi-gloss finish and is available in 15 popular colors shown below.
ThermoFlex Sport can be applied to the following fabrics:
Cotton, cotton/poly blends and polyester mesh athletic jerseys and uniforms.
ThermoFlex SPORT will NOT adhere to nylon, dazzle cloth, shiny polyester or moisture-wicking materials. Be advised that dye migration has occurred with low energy dyes in polyester and poly-blend fabrics. This product cannot be layered.
Ordering Instructions:
We offer and price ThermoFlex Sport by the foot of material. You can order any length you need but only lengths of 15 feet or longer will be rolled onto a cardboard tube. Rolls between 15 & 30 feet are eligible for custom roll width cutting to fit smaller vinyl cutters. Longer rolls cannot be custom cut. Custom width cutting can be requested during the checkout process.
