SGS Dark Transfer Paper

Our house brand SGS Dark transfer paper is designed for use with most inkjet printers and offers superb colored image transfers onto black or dark colored cotton fabrics. 

Paper Backside: Blue Grid
Features: Fade resistant, durable and and easy to use.
Applies to: 100% cotton and blends
Applies with: Heat press or hand iron

Application Instructions: 

1.  Pre-heat the heat press to 345-degrees F.
2.  Print design onto the white side of the paper using an inkjet printer.  Do not mirror (reverse) the image.
3.  Trim away the unprinted areas of the transfer using scissors, a knife or vinyl cutter if desired.
4.  Prepress the garment for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.  Allow the garment to cool.
5.  Carefully peel the printed design from the backing paper and place the design onto the cool fabric in the desired position.  Be careful to keep the design away from the heat to prevent curling.
6.  Cover the design with a sheet of the parchment paper provided.
7.  Cover the parchment paper with a Teflon coated fabric sheet if desired.
8.  Press for 20 seconds using medium pressure.
9.  Allow the garment to cool completely.
10.  Carefully peel the parchment paper off the printed design.  Save the parchment paper for reuse.

Hand ironing instructions will be included with the product.

 Other Information:

• Use in a well-ventilated area.
• Not recommended for HP DeskJet 1200C or 1600C models because they apply heat.
• Keep the transfer paper in the provided zip-lock sleeve between uses.  Store in a cool and dry place.

Washing Instructions:
• Wait at least 24 hours before washing.

Testing:
Because of the wide variety of fabrics and garment manufacturers that exist, we highly recommend that this product be fully tested prior to going into production.
