| I love this blade holder. I have not been able to cut thick cardstock with my SIL until I got this holder. Being able to adjust the length of the blade was the key. I can now cut ALL of my cardstock with any design. I just love this holder. Prior to getting this I was about ready to sell my SIL because I could not cut what I needed now I feel like I have a new tool and I'm enjoying it!!!! Thank you so much for inventing this and making the SIL even better. | ||||

THIS HOLDER IS FANTASTIC. IT MAKE CUTTING THIN TO THICK PAPER OR VINYL EASY AND WITHOUT CHANGING CAP SIZE JUST BY TWISTING THE TOP CAP FOR THE THICKNESS OF THE PAPER OR WHATEVER MATERIAL YOU ARE CUTTING. COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER PRODUCT. IT IS WORTH THE PRICE. |

| It works great! (5/5) | Aug 15, 2010 | Glory T. | NJ, US | |
| This blade holder/blade combination is fantastic. It works great on my Silhouette SD. I can cut heavy cardstock with ease. I will buy all my blades from you guys from now on. | ||||
| Quality Blade Replacement (5/5) | Aug 7, 2010 | capn | WA, US | |
| Quality casing for blade holder. Many settings available for different thicknesses of material to be cut by twisting blade in or out. Will take some practice to get a feel for different lengths based on thickness of material and type of cut preferred. | ||||
| SGS Silhouette blade holder (4/5) | Jun 27, 2010 | Mary S. | NY, US | |
| This blade holder beats out the plastic Silhouette blade holder by a longshot. The SGS bladeholder is made out of metal and is really nice holder, the blades cut through Bazzill cardstock beautifully. It is a little tricky to figure out but once you have it down it is awesome. I will continue to buy this for my Silhouette. | ||||
| Tuff stuff (4/5) | Apr 30, 2010 | DJH | CA, US | |
| Beautifully machined & rigid. I was fortunate in that I only broke two sets of the original blade holder caps before I found the SGS. Planning on buying a set of holders and 60 degree blades for each different material so I can quick swap out depending on needs. SGS should put together a package deal, buy blade holder and blade for x amount savings over buying separately, just my two cents. | ||||
| Better than the original (4/5) | Apr 5, 2010 | Nicole Crutchfield | VA, US | |
| This blade holder works great. It is better than the holder that comes with the Silhouette due to the fact that it can make deeper cuts and you don't have to keep up with those annoying colored caps. It was very easy to assemble. I just wish it had a guide for various materials saying reccommended rotations for the appropriate blade length. That would be great for us newbies. | ||||
| Great Idea! (4/5) | Oct 8, 2009 | Matthew T. | WI, US | |

Just wanted to give "props" to Specialty Graphics for having this piece created. It's the perfect compliment to having a personal sized cutter that can imitate the professional capabilities - albeit, the 8.5" CraftRobo doesn't have the cutting force the Pro or and Roland would have. The SGS Graphtec blades work just as well as the more expensive blades. The only difficulty is adjusting the blade depth every time without having any reference point for how deep the blade is, so it is a little bit of a pain to move my lamp so I can see how far the blade plunges. But, with a test cut through Cutting Master 2 for Illustrator, I can usually get a pretty good rendering of how deep the blade is. Overall, 4 stars for the great idea of creating this piece. |
