  The CE5000-40 Craft Robo Pro sold by Specialty Graphics Supply is an awesome addition to my t-shirt business. This cutter cuts an extremely complex design at a 10 to 1 ration compared to hand cutting. Also Specialty Graphics Supply does not disappoint when it comes to customer service. The product shipped for free the same day I placed my order.

  This thing is amazing! The build quality seems very high, like what I have come to expect from Japanese manufacturing in general. I would recommend to anyone looking to get into vinyl cutting. It has so much more utility that a smaller cheaper one, and is built to last. Didn't have too much trouble getting it to work on Mac OS X with Adobe Illustrator CE5. There's just one setting that needs to be changed from the default it comes with. I have very good eyes and can make letters with my hand as small as 0.1 mm. I love accurate tools, and this machine has no problem keeping me satisfied in it's ability to match this level of precision.

  Perfect item, easy to set up and easy to use. Works perfect for me right out of Adobe Illustrator CS5. Going to buy another one of these as soon as we can. Would highly recommend this item to anyone.

  The cutter itself could easily be rated at 5 stars. It arrived well packaged and was simple to install. It appears to be well designed and constructed. Setup and sample cuts were completed with no issues or problems.
My only complaint is the user manual. major complaint: When a person pays almost $1K for a piece of equipment why can't the supplier include a printed copy of the user manual? To have to down load and print my own copy was a real pain. In addition, for a "newby" in the vinyl graphics business I found the manual to be far too technical and difficult to follow. What would have been better is to include in the manual, DVD or even on line tutorials to show examples step by step of the process of creating/cutting various forms of graphics.

  I have watched the CD-Rom from start to finish, but I have a Mac and the tutorials are on PC. The error messages aren't very self-explanatory. I was also disappointed that the Robo Master software is only for PC. It seems like that would have been enough for most of my applications. That being said, I think this will be a fantastic machine once I figure out how to make it do what I need. Just a bit more of a learning curve than I was hoping for.
