JET-PRO® for Active Wear is an inkjet transfer paper designed for light colored synthetic materials including stretchy performance fabrics containing polyester, Lycra, Spandex, blends and other synthetic materials. It is desiged specifically for active wear, will not crack, produces great color, and is breathable. On synthetic fibers JET-PRO for Active Wear has superior wash fastness and almost no hand. With JET-PRO for Active Wear you get fantastic sublimation-like results at less than half the cost.
JET-PRO® for Active Wear transfer sheets can be used for the following materials
Recommended for light colored synthetic fabrics only. Applies to polyester, Lycra, Spandex and blends. Not recommended for 100% cotton.
HEAT PRESS INSTRUCTION
PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Print the image in reversed/mirrored format.
2. Trim away the unprinted areas of the transfer if desire.
PRE-TRANSFERRING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Prepare the surface by ensuring the surface is clean, dry and wrinkle free.
TRANSFERRING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place image on top of garment with image facing down (backing paper is facing you).
2. Press 20 seconds @ 375°F using medium pressure.
3. Peel away backing paper while still hot in a smooth even motion.
4. For best “hand”, stretch the garment.
HAND IRONING INSTRUCTIONS
PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Print image on the coated side of the paper in mirrored/reversed format.
2. Trim away the unprinted areas of the transfer.
PRE-TRANSFERRING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat iron to highest setting – do NOT use steam (empty all water).
2. Iron on a SMOOTH HARD surface; do NOT use an ironing board.
3. Place a pillowcase on the surface and iron the pillowcase removing any wrinkles.
4. Place substrate on pillowcase and iron it to remove wrinkles.
TRANSFERRING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place image on top of garment with image facing down (backing of paper is facing you).
2. Using 2 hands, using heavy pressure slide the iron up and down (vertically) over the entire image for 90 seconds, then repeat going from left to right (horizontally) for 90 seconds.
3. Peel the backing paper off the image immediately after completion of ironing.
*for smaller transfers one-half or less, the ironing time is reduced to ironing vertically 45 seconds and horizontally 45 seconds. If the transfer area is smaller than the iron, iron for 30 seconds with heavy pressure.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Turn garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry on low-heat setting. Do not iron directly on the transferred area. IMPORTANT: Heat presses vary in accuracy. The sellers and manufactures maximum obligation shall be to replace any paper that has proven to be defective.
STORAGE:
Store unused transfer sheets in a cool dry place. Keep them sealed in the zip lock sleeve that they came in to protect them from moisture and dirt.
TEST APPLICATION:
As with all transfers, always perform a test application on the intended garment before going into production.
