International Shipping Information
Specialty Graphics Supply is happy to ship to our customers located in Canada and Puerto Rico. We do not ship to any other countries at this time.
Shipping to Canada
We will ship to Canada using FedEx, UPS and the United States Postal Service. Canadian customers need to be aware that they will also be responsible for any brokerage fees and import duties (GST) that may be imposed on the shipment. These fees ARE NOT included in the shipping fee quoted by our web site and vary by carrier.
United States Postal Service USPS)
We will ship by USPS for small, low value orders. USPS delivers the package to Canada Post who then delivers it to the customer. Canada Post automatically applies a $5.00 processing fee ($8.00 for Priority Post) for each package to clear Canada Customs. This fee is collected from the customer at the time of delivery along with the import duty (GST).
UPS (United Parcel Service)
UPS charges brokerage fees on International Ground services but not Worldwide Express services. Click here to review the current UPS brokerage fee schedule. This fee will be collected at the time of delivery along with the import duty (GST) by the UPS delivery employee.
FedEx (Federal Express)
FedEx charges brokerage fees on International Ground services but not FedEx International Priority or Economy services. Click here to review the current FedEx brokerage fee schedule (pdf). The brokerage fee and import duty (GST) will be estimated and collected in advance by Specialty Graphics Supply. Once we receive the order, we will calculate the brokerage fee and import duty (GST) and contact the customer for approval to charge their credit card for the fees. The FedEx delivery employee WILL NOT collect this fee from the customer at the time of delivery as it will be pre-paid by Specialty Graphics Supply.
Canadian Shipping Resources
We have provided the following resources to help our Canadian customers learn more about brokerage fees and import taxes. We have in no way verified the information and any calculations provided.
Shopping and Shipping across the Canadian Border from About.com
Online calculator to help Canadians estimate the final cost of purchasing items from the USA. Provided by TheFinalCost.com. Please keep in mind that the calculations provided are estimates only. The actual charges may vary.
Shipping to Puerto Rico
The preferred method of shipping to Puerto Rico is by the USPS (United States Postal Service).
Because of Puerto Rico's US territory status, Priority Mail shipments are treated like shipments going to any of the 50 United States with no brokerage fees or import duties.
Large packages (cutters & heat presses) will need to be shipped by either UPS or FedEx services. More information will be posted when available for these services.
