InkFlex LIGHT 8.5" x 11" Transfer Paper

Application Instructions

• Design or select your image on the computer.
• Mirror the image (also referred to as flip or reverse).
• Print your design on the coated side of the transfer paper which is the blank white side.  Do not print on the blue striped side of the sheet.
• Allow the transfer to dry.
• Trim away excess unprinted areas of the sheet if desired.
  

Heat Press Application

• Preheat the heat press to 375-400 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Set the press for medium pressure.
• Preheat the garment for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
• Place the transfer face down (blue stripe side up) on the garment and cover with a teflon sheet.
• Press for 25-30 seconds.
• Transfer backing sheet can be removed hot or cold.

Hand Iron Application

• It is best to use a smooth, hard, non-porous surface.
• Preheat the iron to the highest setting (Cotton/Linen).  Do not add water to the iron.
• Place a pillowcase on the ironing surface.  Iron to remove wrinkles.
• Pre-iron the garment to remove wrinkles and moisture.
• Position the transfer image side down (blue stripe side up) on the garment.
• Cover with a teflon sheet if desired.
• Using firm pressure, slowly iron over the entire surface with sufficient overlapping.  Iron side to side, top to bottom and along the edges moving continually for 2-3 minutes.
• Remove the transfer hot or cold.

Washing and Drying

• Wash and dry your transfer according to your garment's normal wash instructions.
• You can iron directly on the transfer.

Storage

Store unused transfer sheets in a cool dry place.  Keep them sealed in the zip lock sleeve that they came in to protect them from moisture.

Test Application

As with all transfers, always perform a test application on the intended garment before going into production.
