Shipping Information

How fast do you ship orders?

Orders placed before 4:00 PM Central Monday through Friday generally ship the same day for in stock items.  In many cases we can still ship orders placed after this time depending on our work load for the day and when our carriers (FedEx and UPS) arrive.  There may be situations when we will not be able to meet the 4:00 PM Central deadline so generally it is a good idea to place orders as early in the day as possible.  Our 4:00 PM Central cutoff time does not include orders placed on the weekends or special order items that must be shipped directly from the manufacturer (drop shipped).

Please note that our 4:00 PM Central order cutoff time is not a guarantee but rather a company goal that we do our best to meet on a daily basis.  If you have a job deadline to meet and must receive your order by a specific date, we encourage our customers to use one of the FedEx or UPS express shipping options such as FedEx Standard Overnight or 2Day Air which are given processing priority.

Please note:  All heat presses ship directly from Stahls Hotronix in PA by FedEx Ground or LTL truck carrier for larger models such as the Fusion.  Most orders ship within 1-2 business days but please allow up to a week for popular models to be built and shipped.

How much does shipping cost?

The shipping cost depends on the total weight or size of the shipping boxes and the destination distance from our warehouse in West Chicago, Illinois.  Our shopping cart will automatically calculate the shipping options once a ship-to zip code is provided.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Our standard shipping methods are FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery and UPS Ground. All ground services offer delivery in 1 to 7 days from West Chicago, Illinois according to the maps shown below. Most customers will receive their orders in 1-3 business days. 

Specialty Graphics Supply normally ships within 24 hours of order receipt and most in-stock item orders ship the same-day if the order is placed before 4:00 PM Central.  Items that are drop shipped are normally shipped out within 1-2 days.  Shipments are packed and shipped Monday through Friday only.  If we are out of stock on an ordered item, or determine that it will take 2 days or longer to leave our warehouse, we will notify the customer by phone.  The transit times shown below are in effect after the order ships from our warehouse.

 Note: The shipping time maps do not apply to drop shipped items as these items are shipped directly to our customers from the manufacturer.

Please Note:

    • For UPS and FedEx Ground shipments to commercial addresses, a business day does not include Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.
    • For FedEx Home Delivery, a business day does not include Sunday, Monday or holidays.  FedEx Home Delivery does deliver on Saturday for no additional charge.
    • For FedEx or UPS express services a business day does not include Saturday or Sunday unless the Saturday Delivery option is selected for an additional fee.  If you have any questions on when a package will arrive using Express shipping please contact us. 
    • For example: We ship a package to a customer on Monday that normally takes 2 business days for delivery, the customer can expect to receive the package on Wednesday.  The day the package is pickup up from our warehouse does not count as the first shipping day.

Expedited Overnight and Second Day Shipping

If you need an item fast, we offer expedited shipping options from FedEx and UPS.   Expedited orders must be placed by 4:00 PM Central (that's 5:00 PM Eastern and 2:00 PM Pacific) in order to be shipped the same-day.  Please note that items that require dropshipping from the manufacturer may not ship out the same day.

Please note that if an expedited shipping option is selected, delivery will be made either the next business day for overnight shipments or the second business day for two day shipments.  If overnight shipping is selected for an order on a Friday, the package will actually be delivered on Monday and not on Saturday.  If a Saturday delivery is required, please select FedEx Priority Overnight shipping with the Saturday delivery option.  The Saturday delivery option only appears as a shipping option on Fridays (Eastern time).

Orders requiring an expedited shipping option can also be made over the phone by calling 1-888-330-6172 during our regular business hours of Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Central.

International Shipping

We do not ship internationally or to freight forwarders.  We serve customers located in the United States only.

Delivery Signature is required for all equipment and high value orders

Please note that a delivery signature is required for ALL equipment and high-value orders.  Please make sure that someone will be available to sign for package(s) during the day. 

USPS Priority Mail Shipping

We offer Priority Mail from the United States Postal Service (USPS) as a lower cost shipping option.  The USPS advertises delivery to every address in the continental USA in 2-3 business days but they do not guarantee it.  Please be aware that Priority Mail shipments are picked up at our warehouse by the USPS 1-2 business days after the order is placed.

We will provide you with a USPS "Delivery Confirmation" number for your shipment.  Please note that it is not a tracking number and it may not show the current status or location of the package when checked online at USPS.com.  USPS will scan the package at the time the package is dropped off to confirm delivery. 

 

USPS Priority Mail shipments are not insured.  By selecting the Priority Mail shipping option, the customer acknowledges that they are assuming full responsibilty for packages lost or damaged by the USPS.  If you do not wish to accept full responsibility for package loss, please select a different shipping option.

We do not ship to APO or FPO addresses.

Shipping address corrections or changes

If a customer needs to correct or change the ship-to address for a package that has already left our warehouse,  a $10.00 address change fee is charged to us by FedEx and UPS.  This fee is then passed along to the customer.  There is no charge to the customer for address corrections resulting from an order entry error made by Specialty Graphics Supply.
